God's Word commands us to pray for one another and what a joy that should be for us. But do you ever wonder when you ask someone to pray...if they really pray?? I truly feel we will give an account to God for this. It is something we should take very seriously. I immediately stop and pray for someone when they ask me to and I also ask the Holy Spirit to remind me to pray for them. And He does!! Sometimes at 3 am...it's like a tap on the shoulder..."wake up, it's time to pray"! I have had the joy of praying for a little girl named Abby for the past 4 years. Her name came to me by way of a friend whose baby had the same type of brain cancer as Abby. It's amazing how often the Holy Spirit brought Abby's name to my mind during the past 4 years. Abby went to be with Jesus about 3 weeks ago and heaven is now "Abbylicious" as her mom put it! The neat thing is..I'm still praying for Abby..she's in my heart now and I lift her family up to the Father. What a priceless thing it is to pray for one another!
